It’s an exciting time at Rise n’ Shine. On November 9th, Rise n’ Shine held its first Advisory Council reception. Seventeen individuals accepted our invitation to serve for one year on this newly created Council. The primary function of members is to advocate for, and advance the mission of Rise n’ Shine.

To accomplish this, they are asked to network with individuals, businesses, or clubs in their sphere of professional, personal, and social influence. They also may be called upon to contribute their expertise and thinking or host a third party fundraiser.

Along with Rick North and Michael Dunlop our Executive Associate Directors, members of the Board of Trustees will maintain contact with individual council members. Through these contacts, Council members will be kept up-to-date on Rise n’ Shine programs, fund development, and public education. Since their function is individual in nature, there are no scheduled group meetings.
